Funding Our Services
CCCIS relies on the generous support of many generous people. Donations from individuals, corporates, non-profit organisations and charity funds are much appreciated as are fundraising activities such as concerts and Bunnings Sausage Sizzles. CCCIS only receives ad hoc grants such as Volunteer Grants from the Department of Social Services and local council minor grants to support its services.
Ways you can support us:
- Workplace Giving is a simple way for staff to support a charity of their choice. It’s a meaningful way to donate as the smaller donations accumulate to significant income for the Society. Some companies will ‘match give’ the donation made by staff. This is a wonderful way to show their spirit of corporate citizenship.
- Organisations could also make a direct, tax-deductible donation to the Society.
- We also welcome a donation of goods and professional services, which can help reduce our workplace expenses.
All donations help us provide the much-needed support services to families facing a life-threatening illness.
The Society is endorsed as a deductible gift recipient under Subdivision 30-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 (public benevolent institution). Donations of $2 or more are Tax Deductible.
