Saving the Environment through ‘Plant a Seed Day’
The society has run two ‘Plant a Seed Day’ events sponsored by the City of Whitehorse to promote sustainable gardening and food resilience. We hosted a stall in Box Hill Mall giving out free seeds to people in our local community to encourage them to grow their own products such as vegetables and flowers. We were pleased to see so many people come to our stall to pick the seeds they liked.
